Terms and Conditions of Sale to Distributors:
CREDIT
POLICY:
- A 5% discount
will be allowed if payment is mailed within ten (10) days of
the invoice date.
- Invoices
are mailed promptly after each shipment.
- Invoices
dated from the 1st through the 15th day of each month become
due on the 10th of the following month.
- Invoices
dated from the 16th through the 31st day of each month become
due on the 25th of the following month.
FREIGHT
POLICY:
- Orders
for Abrasive Products with a minimum order of 200 pieces, Diamond
Blades, (NO MINIMUM) and Diamond Drills, (NO MINIMUM) shall
be shipped by Truck or UPS Ground, Prepaid F.O.B. Destination.
Drop shipment orders meeting the above standards shall also
be shipped Prepaid F.O.B. Destination.
- All other
orders shall be shipped F.O.B. Indianapolis, Indiana, either
Collect or Prepay and added to the Invoice.
- Orders
to correct shipping errors shall be shipped F.O.B. Destination.
- Claims
for shortages or damages in transit are the responsibility of
the consignee and should be filed directly against the carrier.
Shortages or damages must be acknowledged and signed for at
the time of delivery with the delivery receipt furnished with
the claim form.
RETURNED
GOODS POLICY:
- To return
an ARCHER product, the following information should be submitted
in writing:
- A description
of what is to be returned.
- The
reason for the return.
- The
invoice number on which the product was purchased.
- We will
send you a letter of authorization for the return. In some cases
we will request that our District Manager try to assist you
before you return the product.
- Authorized
shipments will be accepted only if the following conditions
are met:
- All overstocked
merchandise returned must have been purchased within the previous
six (6) months and be of current specifications, models and
packaging.
- Merchandise
received in resalable condition is subjected to a 15% restocking
charge unless the return is due to a shipping error on our part.
- Merchandise
received that is not in perfect, resalable condition is subject
to a 15% restocking charge plus any necessary reconditioning
charges. The Distributor will be notified before any reconditioning
work is done.
- We will
accept only full unbroken cartons of abrasive blades.
- The value
of the returned merchandise will be established on invoice price
or current price, whichever is lower.
- Special
manufactured blades, specifications or design will not be accepted
for credit.
PRICING
POLICY:
- Prices
are subject to change without notice.
- Price changes
are effective on a specific date and all orders shipped by us
on or after that date will be billed at the revised price.
- All prices
shown in our price list are shown without federal, state, or
local taxes and are also subject to an additional charge to
cover any applicable sale, use, occupation, or other tax affecting
our purchase or sale of merchandise.
